                           COMET P/2023 B3 (PANSTARRS)                       
    
         R. Weryk reports the discovery of a comet in survey images taken on
    Jan. 23 UT by Pan-STARRS 2 (F52). He confirmed and described the cometary
    activity in follow-up images taken on Jan. 24 UT by Canada-France-Hawaii 
    Telescope (T14) in three 60-second exposures, noting a very condensed 0".4
    coma and a broad 6" tail at position angle 260 - 320 deg. Additional reports
