         A. Fitzsimmons on behalf of the ATLAS project reports the discovery of a
    comet in four 30-second survey images obtained on Sep. 14 UT by ATLAS-MLO (T08), 
    noting a condensed 12" coma and a straight 30" tail at position anle 280 degs.
