COMET C/2021 J2 (PANSTARRS)
R. Weryk reports the discovery of a comet in the follow-up images of a
Near-Earth Object candidate first observed by Pan-STARRS1 (F51) on May 10 UT.
He took three 60-second follow-up images by CFHT Mauna Kea (568) telescope on
May 12 UT and reported a very condensed 0".3 coma and a straight 3" tail at
position angle 75 deg. R. Weryk also reports prediscovery positions going back
to March. Additional reports of cometary features are as follows:
