M.P.E.C. 2020-X56 Issued 2020 December 7, 21:35 UT The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual minor planets and routine data on comets. They are published on behalf of Division F of the International Astronomical Union by the Minor Planet Center, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A. Prepared using the Tamkin Foundation Computer Network MPC@CFA.HARVARD.EDU URL https://www.minorplanetcenter.net/ ISSN 1523-6714 DELETION OF 2020 XA1 On December 6, 2020, the Near-Earth Object candidate C1N7CE1, reported by the Catalina Sky Survey, was posted to the Near-Earth Object Confirmation Page. Follow-up observations from five distinct observing sites resulted in the designation and publication of Near-Earth Object 2020 XA1, published in MPEC 2020-X45. B. Gray subsequently noted that the object is the Spektr-RG spacecraft. Therefore, the designation 2020 XA1 is being deleted and will be listed as omitted. M. P. C.
