         Reports of the cometary nature of this object have been received from:
    H. Sato (H06), who reported a 5".1 FWHM (stellar 3".6), condensed 8" coma and
    no obvious tail in 16 stacked 60-second exposures on Sept. 8.4 UTC; R. Weryk
    (F51), who reported a 1".8 FWHM (stellar 1".15 +/- 0".06) and a short ~4" tail
    towards the east in prediscovery images on Aug. 8 and 13; and E. J. Christensen
    (I52), who reported a 8" coma extended to the north-east, in four stacked
    30-s exposures in good conditions.
