         The Minor Planet Center is introducing a new format for ephemerides on
    these circulars, as shown above.  Ephemeris data is supplied for "today"
    (i.e., the date of the circular) and for dates +/- 1, 7, 15 and 30 days from
    "today", allowing an observer to see in a concise form the potential for
    future observations and indicating whether searches for recent pre-discovery
    images are worthwhile.
