                               EDITORIAL NOTICE

     A computer mis-hap has resulted in the loss of several of the proposals
of names for minor planets submitted since early May.  The list below refers
to the objects for which the name proposals are safe, pending approval by
the Committee for Small-Body Nomenclature.  Discoverers and others who have
recently submitted names for minor planets that are _not_ on this list (and
that were not included in the June 13 batch of Minor Planet Circulars, for
example) are therefore kindly requested to resubmit their proposed names and
citations to the Minor Planet Center (mpc@cfa.harvard.edu) as soon as possible.
