                               EDITORIAL NOTICE

     Owing to staff absences, the batches of Minor Planet Circulars that would
normally be dated 2002 Dec. 19 and 2003 Jan. 18 will be replaced by a single
mini-batch to be published on or about 2003 Jan. 6.  There will be a
"mid-month" batch of the observations Supplement later this week, and probably
twice during January.
