         The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual
             minor planets and routine data on comets. They are published
       on behalf of Commission 20 of the International Astronomical Union by the
              Minor Planet Center, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory,
                              Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A.

         The 1993 Dec. 14-1994 Jan. 27 observations attributed to nucleus
    P = 8 on MPC 22994-22996 in fact belong to nucleus N = 9.  They are
    included below with the correct label, together with observations during
    the same interval of nucleus P2 = 8b, which can reasonably be linked with
    the observations of nucleus P = 8 during 1993 Mar. 27-July 17, those
    observations evidently being a blend of P2 with P1 = 8a, current
    observations of which are not shown here. The orbits here replace that
    for P = 8 given on MPC 23106.
