Alterations to Observations Files
redesigs.dat
This file contains observations, that have been published in the MPC Circulars, that have now been assigned a brand new designation, usually by taking tracklet(s) out of another object. The observations in this file will then be published in the next MPC Circular.
todelete.dat
This file contains observations, that have been published in the MPC Circulars, that are now being deleted under that designation. These observations then remain as deleted, or can be moved to the ITF or 'redesignated' under another existing designated object.
