Talented violinist Marie-Annick Nicolas (b. 1956) won numerous
international prizes, including at the age of 13 the first prize of the Paris
Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique. Now a teacher at the
Conservatoire of Geneva, she was born in Le Creusot, where this minor planet
was discovered.
