Stuart McDermid (b. 1952), a senior research scientist in JPL's Science
Division, has developed Table Mountain's Lidar facility to establish long-term
records of atmospheric composition. He has made significant contributions
to our understanding of natural and human impacts on the stratospheric ozone
layer.
