The Minor Planet Center sometimes receives
single-night observations of minor planets that seem to indicate that
the objects are wandering from their predicted paths. Since we are loathe to
publish new orbits for such objects on the basis of a single-night
measurement, this page will alert observers to such objects in the hope that
additional observations may be obtained.
Although we already have one night on these objects, observers should
endeavor to obtain two nights of observations, as is the normal practice.
Other observers also have their own follow-up pages, check out
this list
of links.
